Ujjawal Bharat Trust resolved to sponsor a Teachers' Training College in the year 2007, to cater to the need of Teacher's Training from the session 2008-09, an imperative need of the large number of untrained graduates of the region and to make them qualified to seek employment as well as to provide opportunity in securing secured future and to meet the ever-growing demand of trained teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level for the State of Jharkhand and the Country as the whole.

Management

The Management of the College is very much consious of the fact that Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College, Mukundganj, Hazaribag should be a model institution in the national context which may bloom into one of the best centres of vocational education of the country and thus a symbol of glory for the Chhotanagpur region.

We are very much grateful to the Almighty that Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College has been growing from height to height in the field of vocational education. The Board of Management of Society of Ujjawal Bharat Trust, the parent body of the college has introduced eminent scholars on the subject to deliver lectures. Extra Curricular Activities are held regularly according to the Academic Calendar for the benefit of the trainees. The Management gives sufficient grant for all these activities in the college.

Aims and Objectives

• To develop in the student-teacher competencies, attitude and skills related to child centred activities and teaching.
• To prepare committed teachers for schools so as to raise the educational standard up to the international level.
• To ensure the training encompasses an overall personality development, i.e. physical, cultural, psychological and spiritual, of teacher.
• To meet the ever-growing demand of trained teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level for the State of Jharkhand and the Country as a whole.

Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College, Mukundganj, Hazaribag in a short time holds a unique position in the realm of Vocational Education by virtue of dedicated services of its staff and enlightened leadership of Management,thus being crowned with laurels after laurels on all fronts. Regular exercises like debate, Seminar, Symposia, other cultural activities and sports are regular features of the college during the period of training and the students are kept fully balanced persons through this process.

The college is situated on the National highway (Ranchi-Patna Road) and has easy access from the town. This is situated at a distance of nearly 500 m Behind Mahendra Nexgen Showroom, NH-33, Mukundganj, Hazaribag and nearly 5 km from the Bus Stand, Hazaribag.
