Ujjawal Bharat Trust resolved to sponsor a Teacher's Training College in the year 2007, to cater the need of Teacher's Training from the session 2008-09, an imperative need of the large number of untrained graduates of the region and to make them qualified to seek employment as well as to provide opportunity in securing secured future and to meet the ever-growing demand of trained teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level for the State of Jharkhand and the Country as the whole.

Medium of Instruction
The medium of instruction will be in Hindi and English. Examination may be written either in Hindi or English except Language Subjects.
In Take : Two unit 50 + 50 Seats.
Duration of Course The B.Ed. Programme shall be of two academic year, which can be completed in maximum three years from the date of admission according to the academic calendar.
Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)
Medium of Instruction

In the meeting of the Academic Council of Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College, Hazaribag, held on 30 March 2026, it was resolved to revise the B.Ed. course fee structure effective from the Academic Session 2026–2028.
The fee details are as follows:-
